Mission of Hope Haiti

On NBC News last night was a great story about Mission Of Hope Haiti in Port-au-Prince.  It was founded several years ago by Bob and Sharon Johnson of Indiana.  Their son, Brad and his wife, Vanessa live in Port-au-Prince and run the mission on a full time basis.  This group is extremely organized.  It has been able to provide meals everyday since the earthquake.
There are several ways to give from sponsoring a child, a missionary, a mission trip, bibles, or a tank of gas.
School of Hope is part of the mission and it is working to build a hospital.
Also, the US Executive Director is Oklahoman, Otis Garrison.  The U.S. office is in Lee's Summit, MO.
If you are looking for a charity I encourage you to pray about this one and check out the story on NBC.
The Mission's Disaster Relief has been set up for immediate needs since the earthquake.

It list "immediate response", "immediate recovery", "longterm recovery" and "ways to help". At the top of the list under "ways to help" is "pray".

Guide me in your truth, and teach me, my God,
my Savior. I trust you all day long
Psalms 25:5 (NCV)
Love,
Territory Mom

Your Psalm... gives HOPE!!

I'm always so blessed when I visit you. Did you hear about the ten commandments statue at Poteau Oklahoma? We watched it on the news two nights ago. GOD BLESS the people of Poteau!!!

Thank you for lending a hand to help via your blog. I really believe that God is moving many people to pray and to give. What a nightmare these poor people are going through. May God move quickly...
