I didn't win and this is okay with me, well kinda. I have other things to deal with today.
It was an exciting experience for me and I did enjoy being nominated.
Oklahoma is a very unique state with a very diverse population. You don't have to go to New York City to be in a melting pot, just come to Oklahoma.

P.S. Its a good thing I didn't win. My camo and sequins dress would have overshadowed the awards ceremony and I would never be invited back. This way I remain anonymous at least for one more year.

Hey! I think you should have won!! I even had friends vote for you. Oh well....I don't know if I could handle the publicity...it would bring the blog...LOL...I do put some pretty personal stuff on it...LOL. We are winners!!! I will be in and out the next month due to stockshows...so, don't forget about me! :) Oh, and I love the small business blog that I didn't know anything about til this award thing....so, there is also a plus side. :)
They must be crazy not to have awarded you! Your blog is so earthy and down-home. I guess some folks don't know a blessing when it's staring them in the eye!
Thanks friends for your kinds words. It is so cool to be nominated. Then I saw I was in same catagory as The Pioneer Woman, no chance. Then I realized I'm in the same catagory as THE PIONEER WOMAN, I mean she's famous. So cool!!!

I didn't win either..I was in the Rural category, but it's alright. I honestly don't think some people know what "rural" or "farm-life" is! They need to come out and get dirty once in awhile!
