When I started my family research about 10 years ago I started reading the obits looking for family names. Now I'm addicted to it which bothers my husband, but it's research.
I really like to see the names of people and find out if their names match their age, family, hometown, etc.
Today I ran across the name Frenchie Belle. I had to know more. I found Frenchie Belle's hometown newspaper online and read her obit. There was nothing about why her mama named her Frenchie Belle or that her father named her because he was in the French Foreign Legion. Her obit did say that she was a loving grandma and mother and she would be deeply missed and why wouldn't she with the name, Frenchie Belle.
