Windshield Oklahoma - Nerves of Steel

We woke up to this guy one Saturday morning last month.  This is a helicopter with a big saw on the it used to cut trees along power lines.  Pretty cool.  This is a PSO project.  It was featured in our local paper, but I am unable to view the article online or provide a link.  We aren't on PSO so we didn't get any trees cut, but it was still fun to watch and the kids loved it.
There he goes to cut down some of our neighbor's trees.  You can't see it in the photo but there is truck trying to move the cattle out of the way.

This is as close as we could get.

The pilot has to have nerves of steel.
I couldn't find very much information about the helicopter saw on the internet.  I did find this video on youtube.com of a helicopter saw cutting trees in Fort Smith, AR.  It is worth watching.  You might want to turn the sound down it is set to "Welcome to the Jungle" by Guns N' Roses.
What's happening in your neck of the woods?
Love,
Territory Mom
