Another Strange Thing in Oklahoma

I bet you thought I was going to write about our recent earthquakes.  I will soon especially since my hometown is apparently the epicenter.  Denise from Lost City Knits posted this link on the quakes which very informative.
Anyway, today's strange thing is this spider.  She is carrying her babies on her back, ooh gross.  I had to enhance the above photo just so you can see her.  Below is the photo before:
You can barely see her.  I was trying to research this spider, but got creeped out pretty quick.  I'm pretty sure it is a Dolomedes.  They live near water and can glide on the water.  This one was seen on our pond dam when we were checking out the beavers back in September.

That is the homeschool lesson for the day.
Have a great day and if you are in Oklahoma brace yourself for the next quake.
Love,
Territory Mom

That would creep me out too!

I look forward to your post from the epicenter. I've had enough of this earthquake nonsense!
