This is the Assembly of God Church in Wetumka, OK. Its still standing. It looks like it was the 1940's because of their clothes and you can see some cars parked by the side of the church. My grandpa aka "preacher man" pastored this church, but I believe this photo was taken before his time because no one in my family is pictured.
It must be after the war because everyone is so well dressed or just wearing their Sunday best. Wetumka is a rural community, part of the "We circle", which is what I call the area. The area includes the towns of Wewoka, Wetumka and Weleetka, which is in the Creek Nation.
