These are the water towers that grace the skyline of Okemah, Oklahoma - "Hot", "Cold" and "Home of Woody Guthrie". This image is on everything in Okemah, t-shirts, street signs and brochures for the Woody Guthrie Festival. As you can see the towers are in need of some repair. The "hot" water is very rusty.
It would cost the city a lot of money to repair the towers so they have decided to move the "hot" and "cold" towers to the industrial park in Okemah. The "Home of Woody Guthrie" is staying, but will be getting a face lift.
Now I don't know which came first the towers or the homes surrounding them.
