Two lovely sisters from my community have recently entered Heaven Gates.
Mrs. Birdwell died on November 30, 2010 and her older sister
Mrs. Coale died on December 5, 2010.
Both ladies will be missed. I remember reading Mrs. Coale's interviews in the paper. She was a classmate of Woody Guthrie. I think she was the last surviving member of their class. Just think about these girls going to school and hanging out with Woody Guthrie.
My thoughts and prayers are with the remaining sister and twin to Mrs. Birdwell.

Sorry, to hear of their deaths. And yes, that generation is about (all) gone and with it so much history, so many memories.
